Saturday, April 24th at 18:00 will take place in the gallery of Livorno Peccolo the inauguration of the exhibition by Giulio De Mitri, entitled Light as corpo.L 'techno-artist installations and exhibits light-box. "... De Mitri made it clear - as the curator writes in the catalog presentation Bruno Cora - as is inherent in its conceptual location of the overrunning of the objective value of the work to quality 'environment', that is towards ever-changing dimensions of work and facilities in relation to the context, because what it has to be 'accepted' and made it significant was the sense of space physics that arises from the introduction of the work nei luoghi . Tale carattere appare evidente in ogni sua creazione, proprio per quell’appartenenza al grembo di cultura e fisicità che il mondo della Magna Grecia ha sempre espresso, e per la consapevolezza che ne deriva a ciascun erede spirituale di quei luoghi; tanto più se – come nel caso di De Mitri, artista autenticamente motivato – la profondità sorgiva della scaturigine poetica è abissale e insondabile ma tuttora attiva. Quella di De Mitri non è una ricognizione che pretende di essere avulsa da relazioni; al contrario, intende coniugarsi con esperienze stratigraficamente di grande spessore e incisività...E, ancora, come afferma il curatore l’artista si identifica con la nozione stessa di Mediterraneità, with the latitudes of circular and endless horizons, filled with liquid substance, the fading between the different values \u200b\u200bof the navy and the air and between the glare and reflections of sunlight and its reflections on the water mirrors. Blue light and inextricably considered and included in any more recent creation of De Mitri. ... So, well it explains why a number of years, they develop different morphologies that have many aspects in which it, in appearance, takes shape. " E 'A catalog was published by Contemporary Art for the series Rubbettino Iconic (catalogs, biographies, memoirs), containing critical essays by: Rosalba track, Bruno Cora, Lorenzo Canova, Louis Paul Finizio, Barbara Tosi, apparato iconografico e nota bio-bibliografica sull'artista.
La mostra resterà aperta sino al 20 maggio p.v.
