A brief survey of works from the period

recent. A special section of the exhibition is dedicated to
series of works "changes" made in 1998

Jacqueline de Jong was born in 1939 in Enschede
in Holland and has lived and worked in France and Amsterdam.
I suoi primi quadri sono fortemente espressivi e
di impianto COBRA. Dal 1960 inizia ad esporre le sue
opere in Gallerie e Musei Olandesi, Svedesi e Tedeschi.
Nel 1960 aderisce al gruppo SPUR tedesco e diviene
membro dell'Internazionale Situazionista, stringendo
amicizia e collaborazione con Guy Debord e Asger Jorn.
Tra il 1962 e 1967 pubblica il bollettino "Situationist Time".
E nel maggio '68 è a Parigi dove progetta e stampa molti
manifesti per il movimento studentesco.
Dopo il 1969 serie di quadri "Dipinti erotici". Uno dei quali
viene acquisito dall' Erotic Art Museum di Amburgo.
Nel 2009 è invitata a tenere letture e conferenze sul
Situazionismo all' Università Yale and New York. Apart from a few trips to
Albisola
to make pottery (some will be installed in the house of Asger Jorn
) Livorno this is his first personal exhibition
Italian.
